Texas Legislature convenes today!
Today at Noon the Texas Legislature convened for its 81st Regular Session. Many commentators believe this term will be heavily dominated by homeowner's insurance, gambling/gaming, and economic issues. Given what the state has been through since the 2007 session and the national economy, there is much to accomplish.
Law makers are likely to introduce several bills pertaining to family law matters. I encourage people to be aware of what’s going on with their government – especially regarding issues that not only hit close to home, but in the home.
